Supervisor-Land Records

Position Summary

• Responsible for land records management and research functions required to assure accurate, consistent contracts which safeguard the Company's holdings and interests.

Target Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of Analysts-Land Records who monitor/manage/update land records
• Assists in the implementation of new land management system
• Training new staff and ongoing mentoring of Land Analysts, Associate Land Analysts and Process Assistants
• Compiling acreage/land records reports as required
• Performs record analysis for Legal and/or Landmen, as requested
• Lead or assist in special projects
• Works closely with Division Order counterparts to ensure title information is correct
• Ensure land records processes are compliant with SOX procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 8+ years of land experience preferred
• Experience in analyzing and processing complex land records, titles, leases and in office procedures; as well as experience in division order or land administration
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent skills in Quorum, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Certified  CPLTA is preferred
