Civil Site Engineer

Privately owned civil contractor now turning-over more than most mid-tier rivals this company has grown substantially over the last decade.  Delivering projects for their clients who include some of Australia's biggest and best energy and mining companies this organisation has expanded their operations to include larger and more challenging projects.
 
With a number of mining infrastructure projects in Queensland already underway, they are currently expanding their engineering staff after 2 additional projects have been awarded including a brand new mine development worth $110Mill.

The Role

• The scope of this project is predominantly bulk earthworks, with some road formation, drainage, and concrete civils.
• Your main duties will include but not be limited to Quality Assurance, Cost Control, Programming, Daily Reporting, Site Inductions and Safety checks and project planning.
• The 2 projects recently awarded are on a 10/4 and 14/7 roster respectively.

About You

• Degree qualifications in civil engineering
• 2+ years experience gained on large projects (Earthworks, Drainage, Structures, Rail, Road or Mining) in the employment of major contractors.
• Most important is that you are ready to get serious about learning and building your skills as an engineer.  With a long mining boom ahead, successful delivery of your tasks in this organisation will give you a certain career pathway leading to Project Management.
• FIFO is offered from anywhere in QLD - FIFO from interstate in not available.
