Safety Advisor (9 months)

Based in the Hunter Valley, this is just one of several coal operations this company has on the east coast of Australia. This is your opportunity to become part of a global mining pioneer and will give you the chance to travel over the country and indeed the globe. 


Responsible for 280 people on site you will be in a team of four safety professionals during a major mine upgrade. You will report directly to the Project HSEC Manager and be responsible for leading the mixed workforce of skilled and unskilled labourers towards an incident free worksite, on a Monday to Friday roster. 


Tertiary qualifications in safety will be highly looked upon as will your Safety Advisor experience in heavy industry, construction or mining. Familiarity with NSW legislation will be paramount. This is a genuine opportunity to set up the rest of your career in the resources sector.
