 A major open cut coal operation requires an experienced Project Manager / SSE to run their high performing site. This company has an extraordinary record for safety and meeting targets and requires a SSE / Project Manager to continue this tradition.
 
You will be responsible for this HUGE project with state of the art equipment, hundreds of people and advance methods of mining. We are striving for the best candidate so proven success in the industry is essential
 
 Reports Operations Manager
 
Responsibility:
 

• Manage Mine Operations for site
• Develop & Manage Mine Plan and Drill and Blast Designs to specification criteria
• Mentor, Develop & Train senior staff and lead by example
• Meet with corporate officials and management to deliver Progress / Strategies / Improvements for site
• Continue the high performing and impeccable safety record
• Meet statutory obligations surrounding Qld coal mining legislation

Qualifications & Education
 

• Mine Engineering Degree or Equivalent
• Previous experience in similar role (Opencut Coal Mining)
• Senior management experience
• Site Senior Executive Ticket (QLD)
