Principal Mechanical Engineer

This client is a leading supplier of high-value consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world’s natural resources, nuclear, clean energy, water and environmental sectors.  They are currently involved in a number of very high profile projects in Australia and worldwide, and can offer you an abundance of career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to onsite construction teams, estimating department and projects department.
  • Perform site inspections, functionality testing and commissioning documentation.
  • Liaise between the project team and the engineering discipline group.
  • Monitor progress of the project discipline teams and provide feedback to the Project Engineering Manager on design progress budget and schedule.
The following experience/skills are required for this position
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role.
  • Design, selection and site experience with Bulk Materials Handling equipment. 
  • Experience working within an EPCM organisation is essential.
