About our Client
My client is a developing Mining company based in Metropolitan Perth, WA. They have evolved from a start up into an exciting phase of building upon initial work done and have now foreseen the need for a hands on and experienced CFO to join their business. The assets / tenements are based within Australia, however there could possibly be international travel with this role.

Job Description
The role will focus on the following key areas:

• Managing a small and relatively new Finance team, all based in Perth
• Assisting the board with key projects and also looking to step more and more into a Company Secretary remit as well.
• Management of the overall development of systems for the business as the project grows.
• Collation, review and presentation to the board for all annual and quarterly results for the business, as well as managing and overseeing the forecasting, budgeting and cash call areas of the team.
• Working closely with the Finance team to up-skill them as the project hopefully starts to develop.

Possible IPO in the future, with managing and executing this procedure a key potential for this role.

The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant shall possess the following:

• Qualified Accounting professional
• Extensive exposure across the Mining or related industries, with exposure of getting Mines from development into production desirable.
• Strong systems skills and proven track record around systems upgrades would be advantageous.
• Highly developed commercial skills and excellent communication skills are essential in this role.
