Concreter / Formworker


Working with Roy Hill and the project’s large scale contractors, SKILLED will use their vast industry experience and nationwide network, to source Australian workers to help fill roles on our project. Our partnership will ensure that workers all over Australian who have the relevant skills and experience will be given the opportunity to work on the Roy Hill project.
 
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitable candidates for concreter/formworker roles associated with the construction of the Roy Hill mine operations. Positions on project will be offered with companies contracted to build the project and will be offered on the following basis;
 

• 4 weeks on 1 week off FIFO roster – flights will be provided ex-Perth only
• 10-12 hour shifts, working 13 day fortnights when on site
• Accommodation and messing will be provided on site

 
To be considered for these roles candidates must address the following criteria;
 

• 12 months demonstrated experience working in mining and construction related roles
• Experience in pouring, laying, and screating/finishing concrete and formwork
• Current manual Driver’s Licence
• Current high risk tickets in Concrete Pumping (PB) highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability to work safely
• Be prepared to work in a remote location in extreme environmental conditions
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test
• Nationally accredited high risk tickets such as skid-steer (LS), elevated work platform (WP),or forklift tickets (LF) will all be highly regarded
