Senior Geologist - Modelling

Senior Geologist modelling required for Coal mine in Mpumalanga

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BSc Honours Geology or equivalent qualification
  • Min 3 years experience preferably in Coal Geology and/or Geological Modelling
  • Strong computer knowledge ( MS Office, Excel advanced and databases, Stratmodel)
  • Previous geological modeling and resource estimation experience
  • Coal experience
  • SAMREC code and SANS10320 Guidelines knowledge
  • Registered or be registered with SACNASP
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Candidate should have good knowledge of safety systems and standards
  • Training courses, mentoring and on the job training will be provided.
