My client, a global multi-disciplinary specialising in a range of environmental services, is looking to expand the team in Bristol with an Ecologist. They provide services including energy, environmental impact assessment and ecology and offer this opportunity alongside a competitive salary and excellent prospects for career progression.

The ideal Ecologist will have at least 2 years experience within a consultancy and be familiar with carrying out ecological surveys, including protected species surveys and habitat surveys, and report writing. Ideally you will have experience working with bats and badgers, in particular carrying out mitigation work. Any licences will be advantageous.

The Ecologist role will involve working as part of a team on a number of projects. You will be expected to use your knowledge of previous survey work to provide ecological input into Impact Assessments. Other duties will involve report writing, desk studies and data management and analysis.
