With an expert knowledge of the Coal industry, combining technical specialities with detailed business analysis our client is well established and has developed long-standing relationships with some of Australia's best known Mining companies.
Their Brisbane office is urgently seeking an experienced resource geologist with excellent modelling skills. Due to an increased demand in their consulting services a new position has arisen for a Geologist with a minimum of 5 years experience either client side or consultancy focused.
Within this role you will take responsibility for:
Mine design and resource modelling
Resource estimation
Technical reporting in accordance with the JORC code
Liaising with clients
Assisting with the development of junior staff
To be eligible to apply for this role you will have:
A minimum of 5 years experience either client side or consultancy focused in the coal sector
Good knowledge of Mining Software such as Minex, Vulcan or Minescape desired
Excellent communication skills and able to interact with clients well
Previous experience of planning projects
Previous working experience in a multi-disciplined team
