Payroll Officer - 6 month maternity leave contract

About Our Client
As the resources industry continues to boom in Queensland, our client based city fringe is looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Officer to cover a maternity leave contract for the next 6 months.

The Role

• Working as part of a highly motivated and dynamic team of payroll specialists, your responsibilities will include;  
• End to end fortnight and monthly payroll for 500+ employees using a large payroll system
• Award and contracts interpretation and calculations
• Dealing with queries about pay from internal employees
• Assist with other adhoc payroll related projects as required 

About You
Based in this city fringe location and reporting into the Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will bring a strong background and confidence in their payroll ability being able to "hit the ground running" for the duration of this 6 month maternity leave contract. Proven full function end to end payroll experience for a large sized business will be essential for this role.   
 
Prior experience using a large ERP payroll system will be highly regarded.
