Project Document Controller

Our client is a well established engineering firm that specialise in providing the design, procurement and construction of major mining infrastructure projects. They have long term agreements internationally with major mining operators to provide consultancy and are seeking technical document controllers to join the project team. 


About the Role
As a document controller your key accountabilities will be the following:

• Catalogue all project documentation received from internal and external staff
• Assemble and distribute contract documentation
• Assist with management of electronic correspondence files
• Archive project information (electronic & paper) for future prosperity
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a high performance and collaborative team by providing customer focussed services
• Maintaining the document system and ensuring compliance with all Quality Assurance standards.
• Ensuring all technical documents and drawings are easily accessible at all times
• Ensuring all documents are tracked effectively through the management of transmittals.
• Production and distribution of status reports to project teams as required.
• Ensuring data is entered into the company software accurately and in the required format

About You
You will have a customer service approach to both internal and external clients. You will have 2-4 years of technical document control experience working in an engineering, construction, mining or oil & gas project environment. You would have used EDMS systems such as Aconex, QDMS, Teambinder, Incite or similar
