Tasks

• Support the major surface mining, underground mining, and construction accounts and technically support key end users with wear resistant solutions, PCD tool use and carbide tooling solutions
• Understand customers' business, technology and product requirements and appropriately match [Company] tooling solutions, products and services to meet customer needs
• Exceed customer expectations relative to [Company] service levels and technical know-how and value added services by providing exceptional technical support, training and field support
• Understand and utilize company resources such as the Global Drawing Warehouse and the Knowledge Center
• Show continuous improvements in technical, product and selling skills
• Maintain high impact customer relationships with current accounts to expand market share

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering education preferred
• Five plus years of successful field or manufacturing experience in the underground mining industry preferred, but not required
• Experience working in extensive technical manufacturing environment
• Proficient in identifying and assessing customer needs
• Competent in understanding and communicating all products and technical information; able to read CAD drawings, blueprints, etc.
• Competent in using computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Well-developed interpersonal skills enabling teamwork and clear communication.
