Inventory Purchase Specialist

Job Description:          

  • Purchase parts and components on behalf of [Company] Southwest. Negotiate prompt delivery of parts and components. Provide technical assistance as requested. Assist in the management of system inventory parameters to exceed Dealer Excellence expectations. Assist with month end closing processes and parts accounting. Oversee parts returns.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in general studies or 2 years of college or equivalent years of experience preferred.
  • Previous purchasing background preferred.
  • Experience in Warehousing and Inventory Control preferred.
  • Technical reference material experience preferred.
  • Previous office or clerical systems experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, & Power Point preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of product lines including model designations and equipment applications.
  • Must have organizational skills to work independently, complete assignments on schedule and maintain record keeping systems.
  • Must have sufficient analytical skills to confidently provide recommendations based on report analysis.
  • Must have ability to conduct research using available resources.
