Mine Surveyor Required

Our client is one of Queensland largest privately owned mining contractors that has more than sixty years experience with in the industry. Our client has a fantastic reputation with in the industry and are on track for continual growth for 2012. 

Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, your duties will include,

• Ensure that mine survey control is maintained and conforms with the Mine Survey Code of Practise.
• End of month volume calculations
• Provide feedback to key stakeholders on technical issues and the technical performance of the mine site.
• Ensuring statutory requirements are met.
• Conducting engineering surveys for mine infrastructure
• Routine tasks are performed in accordance with Survey procedures and standards

To be considered for this role you will require,

• Tertiary qualifications in mine surveying or a similar discipline.
• Min two years experience in Mine Surveying
• Have the ability to build long lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Mine Surveying Software
