THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Problem Coordinator will strive to minimize the adverse effects on the business of problems and incidents through proactively trending incidents to detect problems and coordinate the resolution of existing problems. A solid understanding of ITIL, process design, trend analysis, and problem facilitation techniques are important for the position. The position entails interaction with all IS staff, both technical and business-focused.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Manage and co-ordinate all activities necessary to detect problems via analysis of Incident Management data and supplier / development documentation
• Manage, co-ordinate, and facilitate all activities necessary to identify root cause, initiate resolution of problems, and identify preventative actions
• Manage and improve of the Problem Management process
• Plan, schedule, and manage the execution of remedial actions including status updates with problem stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Typically 3+ years of Information Systems experience
• ITIL Intermediate or greater certification level in at least Operational Support and Analysis
• Demonstrated process design and documentation proficiency
• Excellent analytical and incident trending skills
• Experience with problem detection and resolution facilitation
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
o Project Management
o System Development methodologies such as Object Oriented, CMMI, Agile, UML and DSDM
o IT Infrastructure
o IT Client Support
