Principal Health and Safety Consultant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Health and Safety Consultant to join a market leading Engineering Company based in Northampton. With extensive experience within the health and safety sector the ideal candidate will oversee and develop the team whilst managing key accounts and projects. The starting salary for this role is flexible depending on your relevant experience.

Qualifications – Health and Safety\Fire Safety qualification (degree level or equivalent). CMIOSH or CIEH. OSHCR registration. A full driving license is essential.

Experience - 6+ years experience in a Health and Safety role with operational management experience within a consultancy

Working as a Principal Health and Safety Consultant your duties will include:
• Manage a team of Health and Safety consultants\Fire risk assessors
• Conduct staff appraisals and ensure CPD is maintained
• Undertake annual audits of consultants site work and review their written reports
• Lead team meetings
• Liaise with clients
• Attend client meetings
• Manage key accounts ensuring KPIs are hit
