HME Superintendent
About the Company:
My client is a highly successful and reputable coal mining organisation working on exciting mining projects throughout Queensland. They are now looking to recruit a HME Superintendent for an exciting project in central Queensland.
This role will involve reporting to the maintenance and asset manager, budgeting, forecasting and coordinating the implementation of the Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) capital project requirements. Strong leadership skills will be required to ensure safety, quality and budgetary requirements are met in compliance with legislative standards.
The requirements for this role include:
Having a trade qualification.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a HME Superintendent role in a resources environment.
G1, G8, G9 or equivalent Supervisory authorisations.
Sound knowledge of statutory laws and regulations governing maintenance at open cut coal mines.
Background in developing achievable budgets and schedules.
Good Contract Management experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
The ability to develop a business case and deliver business improvement.
Residential role on a 5/2 basis.
