A leading Australian contract miner offering services over multiple mining sites throughout Australia.
The role is for an experienced Mining Engineer for an open cut coal operation in Central Queensland. You will work across all areas of technical consulting and operational management. The role is site based on a Monday to Friday roster.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide technical support for supervisors
• Implement management systems
• Procurement
• Coordinate site mining projects
• Develop and manage budgets

About you:

• Tertiary qualified
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Minimum 5 years in similar role within open cut mining
• Strong knowledge of Vulcan Mining software is beneficial
