As Maintenance Manager you will be working a sought after, family friendly roster that will encourage work life balance as see you commuting from Mackay. Utilising a dragline, truck and shovel operation, this site is producing just less than 10 million tonnes of coking coal per annum.
Within this role, you will be responsible for leading the Maintenance Department and will report directly to the General Manager of Site Operations. Within your influential role, you will achieve improvement targets regarding performance, production and safety at the highest levels possible, delivering predicative and preventative maintenance plans, as well as providing effective leadership to your Maintenance Superintendents on site. You will be responsible for heavy plant maintenance, mobile plant maintenance, infrastructure and support services, as well as project management activities.
You will bring the following essential experience to this position:
- Extensive open-cut coal mining experience
- Degree qualification in Engineering or Applied Science
- Previous experience in senior management roles
- Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Driver’s License
