Project Engineer

We are currently looking to secure the services of an experienced Project Engineer with either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications to join this Newcastle/Hunter Project team. Working within the Project Delivery team you will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of underground mining equipment for clients across the east coast of Australia.
 
You will work with the engineering, manufacturing and installation teams to manage each stage of the process, ensuring it is delivered in line with project plans and meets the client’s expectations. You will liaise with the client on a regular basis and must have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
 
You will have exceptional communication skills and must be able to convey specific instructions effectively at all levels of the project to prevent any issues arising. You will report directly to the Manager of the Projects Team on time and cost targets and will present formal reports on progress where required.
 
It is expected that you will have degree or Diploma qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with previous experience working in a Project Engineer or Project Management role. A knowledge of the underground mining process and previous experience working either underground or in delivering underground mining equipment is preferred but not essential
