Lead Drafter — Power Industry

  • Full responsibility for the drafting output of the team
  • Report directly to the Design Manager
  • Mentor and train more junior staff
Our client is a leading power provider in Victoria.  This role is for a highly experience CAD Drafter to take a lead role in the Design Team.  

In more detail the Drafter will be responsible for delivering the highest quality electrical/power drawings primarily for the clients network but also for some new external projects.  They will develop and deliver training and mentoring programs to the team and also further develop the CAD and other spatial software.

The successful candidate will be an expert in CAD and have plied their trade in the power industry for a number of years.  They will have a proven track record in leadership both of people and projects and finally they will have some experience working with GIS software.
