Safety Officer (Gold Mining with Comcsoc)

Our client is a listed mining group with operations in Westonaria. They have a current vacancy for a Safety Officer to join them.

Primary Job Purpose

  • To ensure that all the workings underground are complied with in accordance with the Mines Health and Safety standards.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Completed COMCSOC 1 and 2. (Essential)
  • Practical experience as a safety officer mining for at least 3 years with specific gold mining experience.
  • Relevant safety courses presented by recognised institutions i.e. NOSA, IRCA and Chamber of Mines.
  • South African citizens only.
