Front End Loader Operator

To be responsible for operating industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials

around a mining site.

Minimum Requirements

• Strong experience in operating the front end loader and other heavy machinery.
• Proficient understanding of how the front end loader works
• Capable of multitasking & working under pressure or in harsh environment
• Matric
• 1-2 years recent experience operating a large loader, front end or similar heavy
• construction equipment
• Front end loader training certificate
• Valid driver’s license

Job Specification

• Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skides or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated arrears.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or construction site to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Maintain the work area organized and follow established safety procedures while executing daily activities.
• Perform duties safely, responsibly, and proficiently observing all safety and health rules.
•  Monitoring the performance of heavy equipment’s; and report unsafe mechanical conditions to supervisor
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete daily equipment reports
• Operate equipment including graders, loaders, backhoes, front end loaders, fork lifts and other equipment for construction sites.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water and tires.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment
