Job Description
As part of Imperial Oil's downstream central project management section, the cost and schedule engineer leads the preparation of owner's cost estimates for regional refining projects in the $5M - $50M range.
Duties include:
• Prepare the estimate development plan and lead project team through cost and schedule development process
• Utilize proprietary in-house tools to develop direct and indirect costs at early stages of project development
• Develop early project execution schedules
• Present cost and schedule basis documentation, metrics and benchmarking to project stakeholders
• Provide technical oversight to junior cost engineers
• Lead continuous improvement of cost and schedule performance through implementation of improvement activities in estimating, scheduling and project controls processes and tools

Special Requirements
Successful candidates should have a Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or Engineering Technology. with 5+ years of related professional experience. Field or project engineering experience is beneficial.
