• We are a full-service, world-class, carrier with decades of experience transporting explosives and hazardous materials throughout the United States (including Alaska) and Canada. Our fleet is comprised of 547 units including 106 highway tractors, 303 van trailers and 138 tankers (pneumatic dry tankers, solution tankers, and dump & grain trailers).  Our fleet is maintained to meet or exceed strict DOT standards and is monitored through high-tech fleet tracking satellites.

Position Summary:
Responsible for the following:

• Safely deliver [Company] products between the company facility and customer locations in a professional and efficient manner consistent with company mission, vision, and values.

Essential Functions:

• Deliver product into mining locations in western states and Canada.
  
• Load and unload dry bulk and wet bulk products.
  
• Safely operate 3-axle tractor and pull rocky mountain doubles.
  
• Must, at all times, adhere to Safety rules and practices.
  
• Able to learn and apply comprehensive safety and operational training.
  
• Perform a complete and thorough pre and post- trip inspection on all assigned equipment.
  
• Safely drive in inclement weather and mountainous terrain/mining environments
  
• Must be able to maintain balance while climbing in and out of a cab.
  
• On a frequent basis, must be able to sit and operate equipment for long periods of time.
  
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally from the ground to shoulder level.
  
• Must be able to push/pull with arms with a force up to 50 plus pounds when required.
  
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally from the ground to waist level.
  
• Other duties may be assigned within the capabilities of the successful candidate, as determined by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
• Minimum three (3) years driving experience.
  
• Current valid Class A CDL with Doubles and Tanker endorsements.
  
• Hazmat endorsement, or the ability to obtain one after hire.
  
• Hauling bulk tank trailers using pneumatic pumps, blowers, and safety shut-down systems a plus.
  
• Knowledge of DOT, MSHA, ATF and OSHA regulations and procedures a plus.
  
• Experience working in a mining environment (MSHA certified) is a plus.
