Design Engineer / Project Engineer

Description

This exciting opportunity will provide you with the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals on a variety of challenging projects that will include the delivery of highway design assignments in both rural and urban conditions, including drainage design and report preparation. You will also be given the opportunity to provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring of the junior staff.

Requirements

• University degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in the field of highway design and construction.
• Registration or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the area of highway design.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities combined with excellent communication skills.
• Familiar with TAC and Ontario's Ministry of Transportation standards and guidelines.
• Experienced in project management, report and proposal writing.
• Experienced in AutoCAD, LDD and In Roads and other design software will set you apart from your peer group.
• Experienced in project management on highway and municipal design projects.
