With an impressive global operation that spans over 50 countries and a diverse portfolio of industries including mining and power they are currently seeking to appoint a talented Project Controls lead to join their winning team for a high profile mining project.
 
Core Accountabilities: 
As the Project Controls Lead you will manage the project and engineering interfaces with procurement and construction and ensure that it is running on time and budget.  You will prepare requisitions for materials and services in line with project requirements and be familiar with contractual arrangements made with the client. You will have a strong planning background and demonstrated experience working on mining/oil and gas projects.

Essential Criteria:

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years construction planning experience.
• Strong Excel, Primavera, MSP, P3 and P6 skills.
• Mining and/or oil and gas exposure
• Materials handling background is essential
• Strong problem solving skills
• High Level of interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player 
• Be an Australian resident; hold a valid visa or permanent residency.

Desirable Criteria:

• Engineering Degree with planning experience.
• Contractor background in planning.
• Able to integrate planning information from many sources.
