This company is looking for Deputies who specialize in coal. This mine has been named the Australian Mine of the Year and Coal Mine of the Year 2011. You will need to relocate to QLD for this role and you will be working in a brand new mine which only started up last year.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager, you will be primarily responsible for effective mine planning achieved through:
- Coordination and continuous improvement of the geological functions
- The achievement of short and long-term business objectives
- Providing Strong leadership
- Ensuring a safe, reliable and cost efficient operation
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualified Mine Geologist
Minimum 5 years experience in Underground Coal
Geological modelling, preferably with practical knowledge of software (e.g. MINEX, Vulcan)
Display initiative and have well developed communication skills in both the written and verbal formats
