Large mining company based in South Africa, has an exciting opportunity for a Mine Surveyor

Min Requirements

• Advanced certificate in mine surveying from the Chamber of mines.
• 3-5 yrs post qualification experience in an open cast mine.
• Sound knowledge in Surveying and experience in Surveying computer systems.
• Plus 5 or more years practical hands-on operational activity in an open cast mine.

Duties

• This responsibility appointment will suit a technical proficient person with extensive practical experience in the accurate determination and placement of X, Y and Z coordinates from a national trigonometrically network for the determination of valves, structures or any relevant point of concern to organisation.
• An additional important area of responsibility will be to ensure to all pertaining statutory requirements.
