- [Company] . has an opening for apart-time, (32 hours a week),Senior Air Quality Engineer to support our environmental consulting practice. The successful candidate will work with senior air quality scientists and engineers in the region (and potentially US-wide) to assist clients in the manufacturing, oil and gas, power generation, and mining industries.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Senior technical leadership in development, execution, and management of local, regional and national oil and gas sector air quality projects;
- Regulatory compliance;
- Process safety management programs including significant contribution to strategic planning, business development, client management, key staff recruiting and development and management of projects;
- Opportunity is for a senior position for the right candidate with significant advancement potential in a very strong, stable and growing global company.
Job Requirements:
- B.S. in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience focused in oil and gas exploration, production, and processing.
- Technical expertise must include air quality engineering, emissions management, permitting and licensing, regulatory compliance management, process engineering and testing, and process safety.
- Candidate is skilled in assisting industry in enforcement actions, federal rulemaking, NESHAPS/NSPS and new MACT rules in addition to PSD/BACT/RACT/LAER. Management expertise must include demonstrated successful project management capabilities and the ability to successfully lead and mentor staff. Strong existing client and agency relationships are highly desirable.
