Mechanic General Interest- CRM

Role Description:

• This position requires mechanical knowledge of basic troubleshooting, repairing, component rebuilding and maintaining equipment in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner.  

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Must take a personal and active approach to health, safety and environment and understand and follow all state, federal and company health, safety and environmental requirements applicable to the work area and tasks assigned.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, (with laptop computer), diagnose, understand service manuals, read schematics, and pursue available resources.
• Demonstrate a high-quality mechanical ability and understand mechanical systems of large earth moving equipment.
• Demonstrate general welding and precision measurement skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Knowledge of warehouse, computer system (Elipse), 12V/24V electrical systems and demonstrate practical knowledge of truck/shovel operations. 

Qualifications Required:

• Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications Preferred:

• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance service or mining industry.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Formal training courses, certifications or related degree program.
