With growth over the past 12 years to become a market leader in the mining and materials sectors, our client is aiming to increase their exports to 12 million tonnes per annum over the next 2 years. Reporting directly to the Principal Geologist, this is a newly created and key role within the mining production team that will require you to provide the highest level of technical support across the entire geology team and also be actively involved in the mentoring and development of our less experienced staff.

To be successful in obtaining this role you will be required to possess the following:
- Tertiary Geology Qualifications
- 8+ year’s Australian experience within the Geology field
- 5+ year’s heavy industry experience
- Hard rock or open pit experience
- Field mapping experience
- Strong communication skills and a focus on safety
