Senior Mining Engineer - Open Cut Coal

There is an opportunity for a Senior Mining Engineer to join the technical services team at one of their open cut operations. The main focus of this Senior Mining Engineer position is to provide engineering advice to operations personnel to ensure quality production targets are achieved in the safest and most effective manner possible.  You will be a key member of the team and will liaise closely with Dragline and Truck/Shovel planning teams.


Key criteria we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
• Experience in Open cut coal mining operations essential
• Proven effective communication & interpersonal skills within a multi-disciplinary operational team
• A strong commitment to safety
• You will be able to base yourself in the Bowen Basin on a competitive remuneration package that will be matched to your experience.
