Maintenance Supervisor - Heavy Equipment

Description:

We are currently looking for experienced Maintenance Supervisors for one of Eastern Canada's Largest Construction and Mining Operations. Primary responsibilities will be to oversee the maintenance schedule of over 300 pieces of assorted large scale construction and mining equipment, prioritize work schedules for a team of up to 10 Shop and Field Technicians, manage internal budgets, cost and equipment failure analysis to minimize equipment downtime, and promote safety to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel. A valid Heavy Equipment Mechanic License is a requirement for this role along with roughly 5 years experience in a related position. Strong interpersonal and computer skills are consider a strong asset and will be given preference.

Compensation:

• $80,000 - $90,000/year. This is only the base salary.
• A 40% Northern Allowance is also offered based on base salary.
• $45 Per-Diem Pay is also offered for meals for days worked.
• Company paid benefits are also offered and a Matching RRSP from Day 1.

Shifts:

• Rotating shift, 15 days on / 6 days off.
• Day and Night shifts are available, so must be flexible to work either.
• Flights and Full Housing Accommodations are provided for by the company.
