Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Description:

One of North America's Largest Mining Companies is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic's with Mining Equipment Experience. This is a rotation position with full flights and accommodations provided. You will be working on a varying fleet of equipment from CAT 777 and 785 Haul Trucks, D6 to D10 dozers, shovels, graders and other related support equipment. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain and service equipment according to manufacturer and company specifications, diagnose and repair faults on all operating systems and commission new equipment as required. A valid Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic's License is a mandatory requirement for this position. A very strong background with hydraulics and electrical systems will be considered an asset. Safety is priority, so attention to detail is a must.

Compensation:

• $32.00 - $36.00/hour. Overtime is paid after 50 hours per week and on weekends at 1.5X regular rate.
• Full flights and Accommodations are provided to and from site.
• Full Benefits are offered after probationary period.

Shifts:

• Rotating shift, 28 days on, 14 days off. 12 hour days.
