Customer Relations Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide Engineering consulting support to sales organization. This includes telephone and written correspondence to address customer's technical inquiries and investigating field installations as to product usage and performance. Address direct customer inquiries regarding [Company] product features, benefits and applications. When appropriate, visit customer's facilities to address technical inquiries and seminars.
• Investigate product performance issues at field installations and with returned materials.
• Conduct training sessions and presentations with new [Company] employees, sales personnel, and customers to educate them on the features and benefits of our products and services.
• Serve as an internal resource on product issues, representing the customer’s needs.
• Continually update personal knowledge of [Company] products, competitive products, and piping markets.
• When requested, provide assistance in local product regulatory matters.
• Improve your job processes by incorporating the Quality Improvement Process into everyday activities.  Participation in Quality Work Groups and Corrective Action Teams for identifying problems and developing effective solutions is encouraged.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance required.
• Organizational skills and ability to set priorities required.
• Willingness to travel, including internationally, up to 25%.
• Valid and current driver's license.
• Self-motivation and desire to excel preferred.
