Our client is a highly successful property owner with over $2 billion worth of assets under management. Due to a major redevelopment, they are looking to recruit an Engineering Operations Manager to assist in the transitioning of a landmark development from building project to a fully functional and fully occupied building.
Your focus will be to make sure that all space is ready for occupancy as the space comes on line and is handed over from the building contractor. You will be accountable for managing the defect liability period, delivering effective maintenance programs, contracts and contractor management and co-ordination of all building services.
Most importantly, you will be responsible for managing several key stakeholders and establishing effective internal partnerships. You will implement maintenance regimes relating to mechanical, electrical, fire systems, lifts and essential services and co-ordinate repairs under the DLP process.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong background in building and facilities management with a well-rounded knowledge across mechanical, electrical, control, automation, fire (detection and control) and vertical transportation. You will have strong interpersonal skills that enable effective working relationships and be able to implement processes and procedures to deliver required outcomes.
