Site Contracts Administrator

A large EPCM project which has approx 6-12 months to completion now requires a site based contracts administrator.  This stage of the project will encompass projects and work packages in the civil, SMP, E&I, I&C fields of construction.  This large multibillion dollar EPCM project is about to commence the next stage of the project offering up 6-12 months of employment on a contract basis.

This particular role will also oversee the post contract award activities.  Other duties will include (but will not be limited to):

Provide total contract support to the project.
  • Analyse and evaluate commercial risk.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder and project relationships.
  • Streamline and improve contract management process.
  • Maintain records of contractor performance.
  • Provide technical and contract expertise to project team as required.
This site based contract role will be responsible for administration of contracts during the construction phase.  The main focus for the Contracts Admin will be to ensure all contracts are compliant with legal statutes and adhere to all terms agreed by the contractors, vendors and suppliers concerned.  The role will play a key part in maintaining all procedures relating to contract evaluation, contract administration and claims negotiation.

As an ideal candidate you will possess:

  • Previous Contracts Admin Experience of 5+years
  • Previous EPCM or client team experience of 1-2 yrs
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce or engineering will be viewed favourably
  • A successful track record in working on high value projects as part of an EPCM. 
  • Strong leadership, drafting, communication and organisational skills.
