SMP Supervisor with Rigging Experience

Our Client is a well renowned leader in the design, development and construction of mineral processing who is seeking to employ a SMP Supervisor. This person will have had previous experience working in a mining environment with construction on a minerals processing plant. An exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business where you can utilise your Rigging skill set.


In this diverse and challenging role you will be responsible for an Australian Greenfield project. These duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitor, report and audit on SMP work package
• Ensure work progress is in accordance with drawing and specifications
• Undertake that works are carried out in accordance with the client requirements
• Assist in approving contractor's progress claims against contracts and any additional works that may be required.
• Ensure document control is adhered to, checked and signed off

The successful candidate will need to have SMP Supervisory experience on a mining construction site along with a rigging certification and rigging experience. In addition you will have ability to assess contracts and work within budget and to schedule. A strong understanding of project implementation, OH&S and community issues along with excellent communication and the ability to deal clients and contractors are a must. This is an hourly rate which is dependent on experience, ranging from $95 - $110ph including superannuation.
