Project

• Manage the Quality Assurance function, including the management of plant quality personnel. Maintain all facets of the quality system, respond to customer and supplier issues, and support continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis.

Tasks

• Train plant personnel in basic problem solving techniques using statistical methods.
• Act as a resource to manufacturing for setting and accepting specifications
• Communicate with Customers, Technology, Suppliers and Engineering on product quality, reliability, and performance.
• Optimize resources allocation and utilization
• Set direction of the QA Dept. and manage the QA staff in the development and maintenance of effective and efficient quality systems
• Maintain the Quality System to the current ISO standard. Ensure periodic systems and process audits are developed and implemented.
• Interface with Marketing and Customers to resolve concerns
• Plan and execute projects to reduce cost.

Requirements

• 4 year secondary degree, plus advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years in discipline
• 3 - 5 years management
