CAD Technician

Salary: £18000 - £25000

Engineering Consultancy based on the outskirts of Brentwood are actively looking to grow their CAD team and currently require a CAD technician with 1-2 years experience using AutoCAD technology with exposure to REVIT being of particular interest.

Established over 30 years ago the project work will be within the Structural Engineering sector of the business undertaking draughting across a wide range of projects. Joining an existing technical team you will need to work independently and be able to demonstrate previous experience working to tight deadlines.

The CAD Technician role will come with specific training but ideally you will have a strong academic background such as a HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar. It will be expected that you have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and also have a bubbly enthusiastic personality to fit well into the company.

With specific training you will be given the opportunity to undertake site inspections and surveys and will work closely with other members of the company allowing you to take on different challenges as well as gaining accreditations you can take forward in your career.
