Off-Road Truck Driver

• This position will operate a 75-ton pit truck and water truck at our aggregate operation in Merced, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Ability to operate a 75-ton off-road pit truck and off-road water truck safely and efficiently.
• Ability to operate other mobile equipment on an as needed basis.
• Perform appropriate safety inspections, minor lubrication and maintenance on truck.
• Comply with all OSHA & MSHA rules and regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Assist with plant repairs when required.
• Ability to work 5 to 6 days per week.
• Regular and on-time attendance.
• Generally supporting and promoting company interests.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years related driving experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent record keeping skills.
• Must be able to follow/take directions, and be cooperative with plant manager and plant personnel.
