Operations Manager- Mine Engineering

Great opportunity for an experienced Mine Engineer to progress to Exec level
Perth based role, family friendly company, 'A' grade offices
$220k plus super and Incentive scheme


OPERATIONS MANAGER - MINE ENGINEERING DIVISION


Our client is an expanding global leader in the mining sector and due to strategic growth within their Perth office, require an Operations Manager to directly manager two Principal Mine Engineers and oversee the Mine Engineering team.


Reporting to the General Manager, you will:
  • You will provide a key leadership and resourcing function 
  • Ensure that all consultants maintain a sustainable and growing pipeline of projects with both existing and new clients
  • Develop and manage strategies and budgets to ensure companies continued growth within the region
  • Manage and mentor Mine Engineering staff
  • Business development - both existing and new business

Ideal candidates will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a Mining related Degree
  • Preferable to be a member of AusIMM
  • Experience managing and mentoring staff
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
