Underground Production Engineer

  • Residential role or FIFO Sydney
  • Underground Gold Mine, 10 year mine life
  • Excellent career prospects & additional training to Snr level
UNDERGROUND PRODUCTION ENGINEER
 
My client is a large high grade gold producer with a smooth running, low cost mine 1 hours flight from Sydney.  Due to their mine extension, they are seeking a Production Engineer.
 
Reporting to the UG Manager, responsibilities include:
  • Developing ideas for process improvements
  • Overseeing the Drill & Blast Engineering function
  • Provide timely advice on mining methods to achieve company objectives.
  • Short & Medium Term Mine Planning
  • Supervising production team
  • Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety are met
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Degree Mine Engineering 
  • Min 2 years experience in an Underground environment
  • Good understanding of UG mining methods and techniques 
  • Familiarity with relevant mining software 
  • Supervisory experience
