Open cut coal operation in rural NSW currently mining using hydraulic excavators and strip mining method.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Safety Environment & Training Superintendent to lead the HSE&T department. You will ensure all on site are working in a safe, healthy and productive environment. You will implement the companies Zero Harm policy across the site.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the companies Safety Systems are complient, you will lead development of safety initiatives and resolve HSE&T related issues. You will set and monitor the safety and performance on site along with rehabilitation programs.

To be considered for this role you will have previous operational experience in an open cut coal operation. Minimum tertiary requirements of a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety and a certificate IV in Training and Assessing. A Degree in Occupational Health and Safety would be highly regarded. You will also have a minimum of three years experience in safety and training with experience in workers compensation and return to work.
