Our client is one of the worlds leading mining service companies and has a reputation for commitment to high standards using cutting edge technology. Due to being awarded a new contract in the Gunnedah region, increasing work load has meant an opening for a Senior Technical Services Engineer.


Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Senior Technical Services Engineer will be responsible for the management of drill and blast designs. Day to day responsibilities include:

• Continually optimising customer blasts through design and technical expertise.
• Developing relationships and project management.
• Delivering customer training.
• Supporting the Technical Services Manager by mentoring the Junior Engineers with in the team.

The Successful Applicant

It is essential to demonstrate a high level of Drill and Blast knowledge and have 5 years of Australian experience. The successful candidate should have tertiary qualifications in mining engineering and a passion for blasting.
