HD Fitter

Randstad currently have a great opportunity for a trade qualified HD fitter to join our clients service and maintenance team. This is a long term opportunity with various rosters available for the right candidate.
 
Successful candidate will need to have:
  • An Australian driver’s licence - HR licence an advantage
  • Able to pass a strict mine site medical
  • Trade certificates
  • Good understanding of most heavy earth moving machines and road haulage trucks
  • Able to repair and rebuild components in the workshop and in the field
  • Good understanding of hydraulics and able to read schematics for diagnostics and fault finding
  • Good understanding of electrical systems and also able to read basic wiring diagrams
  • Exceptional fault finding and diagnostics skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised
 
The work will be primarily rosters in the bush that vary depending on the job, they vary from 13/5, 2/1, 3/1 and 4/1’s
