Position overview
Armed with a broad range of Automation products (controllers, instrumentation, electrical & Mechanical drives) you will have responsibilities for the Central QLD territory
You will influence site personnel amongst Tier 1 & 2 Mining companies that have a heavy presence in the Bowen Basin
Qualify retrofit opportunities and small project work (< $5M) and develop technical proposals for the clients
As a large territory you will be required to travel up to 60% of your role between Collinsville and Rollingstone and once every 6 weeks to Mount Isa.
To be considered for this position you must demonstrate:
- Electrical engineering background originating from a trade or degree
- Exposure working within Central QLD and an updated understanding of the Mining landscape and predominant companies in the area
- A technical understanding of Electrical Instrumentation & Control and / or Electrical & Mechanical Drives applications would be highly beneficial
- Natural networker and proven ability in understanding operational deficiencies onsite and translating them into providing a tailored solution to the company
