Project Planner/Scheduler

Due to our clients expanding portfolio of multi million dollar projects, they require a senior project planner with experience in the civil industry. Our client is a leading mining & construction contractor that is leading the way in the resources sector in WA. 

Key Responsibilities: 
The successful applicant will have the following duties: 

• Liaise with the internal team and subcontractors to maintain regular updates 
• Prepare tender and construction programme 
• Review monthly status reports 
• Forecasting on major projects 
• Ensure contract documentation is accurately recorded and maintained 
• Assist in managing the planning of resources to meet project requirements 
• Provide advice during the design, construction and operational phases of the project 
• Maintain the Client/Customer relationship to assist project delivery 
• Present project updates to the client 
• Promote a positive safety and environmental culture 
• Mentoring of project team regarding planning 

Key Requirements: 

• Primavera 6 experience essential 
• Experience within the resources essential 
• 7+ years as a Project Planner (3+ Senior role) 
• Civil Structural experience (Bulk Earthworks, roads works, bridges, rail) 
• Very good knowledge of tendering processes 
• Project Management experience desirable
